Limited Edition Velez Sarsfield 1968 Kit Released

Football kit news from Argentina this morning as a limited edition Velez Sarsfield 1968 kit has been released by the club and Kappa to mark the 50th Anniversary since the clubs first title.

The limited edition retro Velez Sarsfield 1968 shirt is a replica of that worn by the club when they won their first title and sees a white jersey featuring a large dark navy chevron on the front.

Both the Kappa logo on the right breast and the Velez Sarsfield badge on the left breast are placed on the chevron in the same colour barely noticeable whilst shirt sponsor Hitachi agreed not to have their logo on the jersey so it resembles the original.

On the top of the players numbers is a subtle 68 with a star above it in reference to the first title and the year.

Dark navy shorts and socks complete the retro Velez Sarsfield kit that will be worn against Rosario Central.
