Football kit news from the Netherlands as a special limited edition FC Utrecht Willem Janssen 2021-22 shirt has been released as a thank you to the captain who is retiring at the end of the season.

Last weekend Willem Janssen played his 500th league game in the Netherlands with more that 250 of them games played for FC Utrecht.

To honour the club legend a special badge of the Janssen, with red and black ‘Captain Bedankt’ (Captain Thank You) text underneath appears between the Nike logo on the right breast and the FC Utrecht badge on the left breast.

On the base of the squad numbers is the signature of the captain.

FC Utrecht will wear the special jersey when they face AZ in the final game of the Eredivisie season.
