International football kit news now as a special limited edition Costa Rica centenary kit has been released.

To celebrate the federation’s 100th birthday a limited edition kit has been released inspired by the first kit Costa Rica wore back in 1921 when they played in a Central American tournament which took place in Guatemala.
The limited edition Costa Rica centenary shirt is predominantly navy with a tonal New Balance logo on the right breast and a tonal Costa Rica badge on the left breast.

Gold detail appears on the side of the cuffs.

The back of the jersey is predominantly navy although gold ‘Costa Rica’ text appears on the top of the back.

White shorts with red socks complete the Costa Rica centenary kit which was debuted by the women’s team during their 3-1 victory yesterday.

The men’s team will wear the kit during the Gold Cup which takes place in the United States next month.
Rodolfo Villalobos the President of the Costa Rican Football Federation said, “We are very pleased to present the official Centennial shirt, which combines valuable elements such as the historical richness of our football and our attachment to the conservation of nature, a value that is rooted in the Costa Rican people and in our organization.”
