Football kit news from Sky Bet League One as three limited edition 2021-22 Doncaster Rovers ‘spoof’ home shirts have been released.
Prior to the official 2021-22 home kit launch the club and legend James Coppinger decided to try and trick the current squad that he had designed he shirts for the new season.
Unfortunately the prank backfired as the players liked the spoof Doncaster Rovers home shirts!
The first design is made up of red and white hoops and features a graphic of a Viking on the bottom half of the front.
In the centre of the back is an image of the club’s stadium.
The second spoof shirt is predominantly red with a image of club legend James Coppinger on the front.
On the back of the shirt we’re tonal 26’s in the font of the various seasons Coppinger has worn the number 26.
The third and final design is red with a white graphic of the wheels from a steam train appearing on the front.
The three spoof Doncaster Rovers shirts will be used as training shirts by the players but are also available for public sale in limited numbers.
