The new home jersey was posted on the Italian manufacturer’s website before being swiftly taken down after just a few minute, but it was too late as eagle eyed fans shared the image across social media.
Lazio’s 2014/15 home strip is inspired by that worn back in the 1974/75 season when they won their first Italian Championship.
The base colour is the familiar light blue but features a unique white collar that was used on the 1974 jersey. The cuffs on the end of the sleeves are also white.
Lazio’s crest is placed on the left breast whilst a white Macron logo is placed on the right breast. Again the Serie A side will not have a shirt sponsor.
On the back just below the collar is the writing ‘S.S. Lazio 1900’ which is when the club were founded.
The 2014/15 Lazio home football kit is completed with white shorts and socks an will be worn for the 1st time against Bologna on May 18th.
