English Premier League side Hull City have today revealed their new club crest that is sure to stir up fans opinions.
The new Hull City badge see’s the clubs name ‘Hull City AFC’ and their nickname ‘The Tigers’, removed although the tiger image will remain in the shield with the addition of ‘1904’, the year the club were founded.
Talking at the unveiling of the new badge Hull City Vice-Chairman Ehab Allam said:
“We are delighted to unveil our new crest for 2014/15.
“This is a more stripped back and modern approach which still celebrates the Club’s heritage and history by focusing on our famous and well established Tigers head. We have also introduced ‘1904’ to the crest to document the year our club was formed.”
Umbro will manufacture the 2014/15 Hull City Kits with the new crest after agreeing a four year deal back in April 2014.
