News from Spain as yesterday the much rumoured FC Barcelona and Spotify sponsorship deal was officially announced.
The long term sponsorship deal will see the Spotify name appearing on the 2022-23 FC Barcelona shirts and training wear of both the men’s and women’s teams.
Also as part of the deal the Camp Nou will be renamed the Spotify Camp Nou.
The Spanish giants have agreed a four year deal with the world’s most popular audio streaming subscription service.
Joan Laporta, the president of FC Barcelona said, “We are very proud to announce a pioneering alliance like this with a world-renowned organization like Spotify. This partnership will allow us to continue to bring the Club closer to its fans and make them feel, even more, part of the Barça family through unique experiences, combining two activities such as entertainment and football, making it possible for us to connect with new audiences around the world.”
