Everton Sign Angry Birds As Sleeve Sponsor

News from the English Premier League this morning as yesterday Everton announced that they had agreed a deal with Angry Birds, the popular mobile game franchise to be the clubs first ever sleeve sponsor. The Toffees debuted the new sponsor during yesterday’s 4-0 defeat against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

Everton announced the deal with Angry Birds character ‘Red’ wearing the 2017-18 Everton home shirt, red being the primary colour of rivals Liverpool.

The Angry Birds logo will appear on the side of the left sleeve.

Everton FC’s Chief Executive Robert Elstone said, “We’re delighted that Rovio Entertainment has become Everton’s first shirt sleeve partner. Angry Birds is one of the best-selling game apps of all time and is also a remarkable success story in terms of the way in which the brand has crossed over from gaming to become part of popular culture. Everyone here is excited about being able to work with such a creative, dynamic and ambitious brand.”
