Football kit news from the Sky Bet Championship as the new Derby County 2020-21 ‘Wear It Pink’ third kit made by Umbro was officially unveiled earlier today.
The Derby County third kit 2020-21 supports Breast Cancer Now’s ‘Wear It Pink’ campaign and will see £5 from every adult third shirt and £3 from every child’s third shirt donated to the charity.
Sami Colenutt the Head of Mass Participation at Breast Cancer Now, said: “We want to say a huge thank you to Derby County Football Club for supporting wear it pink. The money raised will help Breast Cancer Now continue to make possible vital breast cancer research and care – at a time when they have never been needed more.
“COVID-19 is having a devastating impact on breast cancer and for many months has paused our research, community support services and much of our fundraising too. As such, there has never been a more vital time to grab that pink tie, pull on that pink tutu, or don that pink football shirt and take part in wear it pink on 23rd October to help us to raise urgently needed funds for Breast Cancer Now. The money raised will help us to continue to carry out world-class breast cancer research and to support people affected by the disease. Please register now at visit wearitpink.org”
