News from the Russian Premier League as Adidas and CSKA Moscow have unveiled their new home and away kits for the 2016-17 season.
The new home shirt returns to stripes after last season’s plain red effort. This latest effort offers a red and blue striped shirt, with plain red sleeves. The V-neck is all blue, while the three stripes are in gold, running down the side of the shirt.
The goalkeeper kit has received some criticism as it is a very similar colour to the home kit.
The away kit is in all black, with sponsor logos, trim and stripes all in silver. What makes this kit special is that it has a jacquard print of a horse’s head, inspired by the club’s nickname, Koni (this is Russian for ‘horses’).
