Football kit news from the Sky Bet Championship as yesterday Coventry City announced they have agreed a contract extension with kit manufacturers Hummel.

The Sky Blues and the Danish brand have agreed a seven year deal up until the end of the 2027-28 season.

As part of the deal Hummel will continue to produce bespoke Coventry City kits and training wear.
Since the beginning of the partnership at the start of the 2019-20 season, Coventry City and Hummel have earned huge praise from supporters and football kit fans Worldwide for their unique kit designs including the iconic Two Tone third kit and the 2020-21 City of Culture shirt.

“We are excited about our future, and building our retail business back in the city.”

Dave Boddy the Coventry City Chief Executive said, “We are delighted to announce that we are extending our agreement with Hummel to our Technical and Retail Partner, agreeing a new 7-year deal.
“We have really enjoyed working with Hummel over the last two seasons and they have helped us to increase our retail revenue by four times compared to when we first started working with them.
“Together we have also created excellent and iconic kits, bespoke and unique to Coventry City, that have been hugely popular with our supporters.
“We look forward to working with them to continue our progress on the retail side of the club and continuing our tradition of fantastic kits, and now with our return to the Ricoh Arena and launching our new Club Shop with them in July.”
