Football kit news from the Championship as the new Coventry City 2022-23 Hummel third kit has been officially unveiled this morning.

The new 2022-23 Coventry City third shirt is inspired by the Baptistery Window at Coventry Cathedral which contains 198 brightly coloured glass panels.

The shirt has a black base colour with a red, blue, yellow, green and orange pattern on the front which replicates the design of the window.

A white Hummel logo is placed on the right breast whilst the chevrons on the shoulders are coloured blue.

On the left breast is the Coventry City crest.
The Boylesports shirt sponsor is coloured white.
Inside the neckline is ‘We’ve Got One To Spare’ text in reference to the City’s cathedrals and the song sung by the supporters.

Coventry City Chief Executive Dave Boddy said, “

“The Baptistery Window is one of the most famous and iconic aspects of the Cathedral, and is something which is immediately eye catching and inspiring when you visit the Cathedral.
“Through our partnership with Hummel, we have worked to create another kit which we hope will prove extremely popular with our fans, while also celebrating the beauty and heritage of the City that we are proud to represent.”
