News from Peru this evening as Club Alianza Lima have revealed a special 2015 kit in honour of the Lord of Miracles.

One of the slaves painted an image on one of the slave quarter walls which is now known as ‘Lord of Miracles’ (the Black Christ). Four years later an earthquake hit Lima and devastated the area although the wall with the painting of Christ on remained intact. Despite numerous attempts to erase the image by different historical figures and another earthquake, the painting remained and led to the Church of Nazcarenas being built around the painting.
