Celtic Lisbon Lions Tribute Shorts 2019

News from the SPL as Celtic will wear special shorts during the 2019 Scottish Cup Final to pay tribute to Lisbon Lions, Billy McNeill and Stevie Chalmers who died recently.

The Celtic players will take to the pitch with shorts that bare the numbers worn by Celtic Legends number 5 and number 9.

One number will be placed on the front left of the shorts whilst the other will be on the back right. This reflects how the Celtic players wore their numbers in the 1960’s.

As well as the tribute shorts the Celtic players will walk out at Hampden wearing alternate jackets with ‘McNeill 5’ and ‘Chalmers 9’ on the back.
