CD Lugo 2014/15 Beer & Octopus Inspired Shirts!

Today Spanish 2nd Division side CD Lugo have revealed their 2014/15 pre season kits inspired by a pint of Beer and an Octopus!

The base of the CD Lugo 2014/15 pre season shirt has a print of a beer glass that takes up the whole front of the jersey which is to honour the clubs shirt sponsor Estrella Galicia, a Galician brewery.

CD Lugo’s badge appears on the left breast with shirt manufacturer CEW’s on the left. Brewery Estrella Galicia have their logo in the middle of the jersey.

If you thought that was weird the CD Lugo 2014/15 pre season goalkeeper jersey has the print of a octopus tentacle on the front inspired by the most famous Galician octopus dish “Polbo á Feira”, which is also served during “Festa de San Froilán”, in Lugo celebrating the patron saint of the city.
