Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan has bowed in to fan pressure and has announced that the Bluebirds will return to the traditional blue home kit with immediate effect.
As of now the Welsh club will wear the traditional blue strip for home games and the red kit for away games starting with tomorrow’s Championship match against Fulham.
Tan who rebranded Cardiff City back in 2012 faced opposition from the clubs supporters when he changed the home kit colour from blue to red in an attempt to ‘appeal in International markets.’
After a meeting with supporters on Thursday Tan game the club permission to return to there more familiar colours.
As of the 2015/16 season the Bluebirds will also adopt a new club crest which will be redesigned to reflect the dominance of the Bluebird and will also include a Malaysian Dragon.
