What a truly horrible shirt sashes on beauty queens might look ok but footballers no. There are so many fantastic foreign designs we could have copied, it makes me despair. Something traditional always looks best. Only the penguin shirt would be worse.

Its the best shirt we have had in a long time a stunning royal Blue shirt with a white diagonal strip running through and beautifully modelled by three of last years starlets in Michael Morrison; Clayton Donaldson and Jonathan Grounds. For me, it’s one of my favourite kits we have ever brought out, especially with the brand new badge which will represent the club in its 140th year.
