Football kit news from the Championship as Burnley FC have announced that their shirts for the upcoming 2022-23 fixture against Middlesbrough will feature the classic Endsleigh shirt sponsor.

**Burnley FC Shirts To Feature Retro Shirt Sponsor 2022-23**

The club have joined forces with current shirt sponsors Classic Football Shirts, who have donated the space on the front of the Burnley shirts to the club’s former shirt sponsor Endsleigh Insurance for the home fixture against Middlesbrough FC on 17th December.

As part of the initiative Endsleigh will donate £10,000 to the Burnley in the Community Foodbank.

The 2022-23 Burnley home kit was inspired by the title winning 1991-92 home kit which was sponsored by Endsleigh at the time.

Only 250 Burnley Endsleigh sponsored shirts 2022-23 will be made available and they will retail at £50.

Mark Thompson the Co-Chief Operating Officer of Burnley FC said: “We are delighted to have joined forces with Classic Football Shirts, Endsleigh and Burnley FC in the Community to undertake this initiative at our game against Middlesbrough.

“This season’s home kit, with its nod to our 1991/92 design has exceeded all expectations. It’s special that we together with our partners we can come together to do this, to help support local people in need. We are aware of the many challenges people are facing, with demand for the charity’s foodbank increasing rapidly. The donation will make a real difference this Christmas and we’re proud to be involved in such a worthwhile cause.”
