Bristol City 2016-17 Home Kit Revealed 

Yesterday the new Bristol City 2016-17 home kit was officially revealed and its divided the opinion of football shirt fans for featuring social media hashtags on the front.

The new Bristol City home shirt 2016-17 has a red base colour with tonal vertical stripes running down the front which get thinner going to the sides of the jersey.

A white Bristol Sport logo appears on the right breast whilst a white badge with a monochrome version of the coat of arms placed in the middle appears on the left breast.

Local construction company Lancer Scott are the Robins new shirt sponsor and have their logo in the middle of the new Bristol City football shirt coloured white.

On the front of the right shoulder is the hashtag #MakingBristolProud whilst the front of the left shoulder has #BristolCity. The Championship side are the first professional team in the UK to feature social media tags on their jerseys.

On the top of the back is the new Ashton Gate logo which marks the grand opening of the new-look 27,000 stadium. Local company Poplar Insulation sponsor the back of the jersey.

Red shorts and socks complete the Bristol City 2016-17 home kit, which were worn by the club from 1965 to 1971 and during the early 2000s.
