Borussia Dortmund One Off Shirt Sponsor

Football kit news from the German Bundesliga as Borussia Dortmund will wear a one off shirt to thank the miners in the region.

The 2018-19 Borussia Dortmund home shirt made by Puma will see the usual evonik shirt sponsor replaced with purple ‘Danke Kumpeli’ lettering with translates as ‘Thank You Buddy’.

On December 21st 2018 the last Ruhr coal mine in Bottrop will close its doors so BVB decided to honour the miners with the thank you message on the front of their jerseys.

Borussia Dortmund will wear the one off football shirt when they face Gladbach in the final Bundesliga game of 2018.
