Its a growing trend that football clubs (especially in Germany) release special kits for the Winter months, here’s Borussia Dortmund’s 2013/14 Winter Kit.
Over the last few years we have seen an increase in football clubs releasing ‘Winter Kits’, or ‘Christmas Shirts’, nice gesture from the clubs? Or another way to make money out of football fans on the build up to the festive period?
Today German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund have officially unveiled their new Winter kit made by Puma which will be worn for the first time by the BVB players this weekend against VfB Stuttgart.
Dortmund’s new jersey has a yellow base colour with thin black trim on the collar and the end of the sleeves. Black details are placed on the top of the shoulders whilst a thin black curved line runs from the middle of the right shoulder down to the left armpit area. Above this line is a unique print of the packed stands of the Signal Iduna Park. What makes this special BVB jersey unique is that each individual shirt will feature a different snapshot of the fans.
