On the day the Champions League 13/14 groups were announced, Borussia Dortmund revealed their 2013/14 UEFA Champions League kit made Puma.
German Bundesliga club Dortmund have gained many plaudits from fans and pundits over the last few years for their stylish play under coach Jurgen Klopp.
Borussia Dortmund’s new Champions League shirt is predominantly yellow but features a black polo neck collar, black sleeves and a black stripe that runs down each side of the jersey. Yellow Puma logo’s are placed on the side of the sleeves whilst a black Puma log is placed on the right breast. The familiar BVB badge is placed on the left breast whilst official shirt sponsor ‘evonik’, continue to sponsor the club during European competition.
The shirt also bears the inscription ’50 Jahre Europapokal Saison 1963/64′, which translates as (50 years of the European Cup – Season 1963/64) the date which inspires the new kit.
BVB’s new strip is completed with black shorts and black and yellow socks.
Our Opinion: Not overly sure on this one, it might grow on me over time.
