Championship side Bolton Wanderers have revealed their 2015-16 limited edition third kit which marks the 70th anniversary of the Burnden Disaster.
The unique Bolton football kit pays respect to the 33 supporters who lossed their lives during an FA Cup quarter final fixture between The Trotters and Stoke City at Burnden Park on March 9th 1946.
The Bolton Wanderers Burnden Disaster tribute kit has a navy base colour with blue hoops and white trim on the cuffs and collar. But it’s the small details on the shirt made by Macron that makes it really stand out.
On the back of the collar is the date of the disaster 09/03/1946 coloured white whilst below that is the Lancashire rose.
ROK Mobile the current shirt sponsors of Bolton Wanderers requested not to have their logo in the middle of the jersey as a mark of respect to the victims.
Only 1000 of these unique Bolton football shirts have been made by Macron and will come in a special box. Priced at £44.99 £10 from each sale will be donated to the Bolton Young Persons Housing Scheme.
