Football kit news from Ireland as a special Dublin Bus x Bohemian FC 2022 FAI Cup kit made by O’Neills has been officially unveiled this morning.
In partnership with Dublin Bus the new special one off Bohemian FC FAI Cup kit takes inspiration from the pattern of the seats on the Dublin buses which was designed by Ardee Coaches Trim back in 1998.
Dublin Bus CEO Ray Coyne said: “As a lifelong football fan and regular attendee at Dalymount Park with my family, I couldn’t be more thrilled to share this announcement here today. Dublin Bus has been a strong supporter of Dublin’s Originals for many years.
“Not only do its players keep us entertained week in week out on the pitch, it is a club which is at the heart of its community, just as Dublin Bus is.”
Bohemian FC Chief Operating Officer Dan Lambert said: “We are delighted to unveil this FAI Cup jersey today in conjunction with club partner Dublin Bus and featuring main club partner Des Kelly.
“All three bodies are Dublin institutions and the iconic seat design that adorns buses across the city is part of the fabric of many people’s lives as they move through the capital.
“We are also delighted to be able to support both ShoutOut and LGBT Ireland in this Pride month, as we continue to work tirelessly to improve the experiences of the LGBTQ+ community in football and sport generally.”
The striking pattern is complimented with navy collar and cuffs that feature yellow trim.
Both the O’Neills logo on the right breast and the Des Kelly Interiors shirt sponsor are coloured white.
A monochrome Bohemian FC badge is placed on the left breast.
The striking pattern continues on the back of the football shirt.
