The new Bodø/Glimt third shirt switches the club’s famous yellow colours for a predominantly black design combined with fluorescent yellow detailing, creating a dramatic look that has a deeper meaning behind it.

The Puma Bodø/Glimt 2026-27 third kit features a clean black base, allowing the vivid yellow detailing to dominate the design.

Its standout feature is a thin diagonal fluorescent stripe which travels across the shirt, incorporating lightning-bolt shapes along the way. The graphic continues onto the sleeves and is inspired by the reflective strips found on high-visibility workwear.

Puma branding, the Bodø/Glimt crest and the club’s various sponsors are also presented in fluorescent yellow, including SpareBank 1 Nord-Norge across the centre of the shirt.

Bright yellow sleeve cuffs complete the high-contrast appearance.

A Tribute to Norway’s Night Workers

There is considerably more behind the design than simply producing an alternative colourway.

Bodø/Glimt have revealed that their new third kit is a tribute to the people who keep Norway moving throughout the night, when much of the country is asleep.

The club’s launch campaign highlights workers including bakers, healthcare staff, ferry crews, taxi and bus drivers, security workers, road workers and airport personnel.

The reflective yellow stripe running through the shirt represents the high-visibility clothing worn by many of these workers and symbolises the jobs being carried out in darkness that often go unnoticed.

It is an unusual and clever concept for a football shirt, while the black and fluorescent colour combination translates the idea particularly effectively onto the pitch.
