Inspired by the Barcelona 1991-1992 European Cup winning kit Barca revert back to the traditional red and blue vertical stripes on their home shirts after they wore hoops at the Nou Camp during 2015-16.

The new Barcelona home shirt 2016-17 has three blue stripes on and two red running vertically down the front of the jersey. Each stripe has tonal pinstripes running down it whilst the sleeves are a darker shade of blue that that used on the stripes. Fine tonal pinstripes make up the cuffs.

A yellow Nike Swoosh is placed on the right breast with the famous FCB badge on the left. The Spanish giants still haven’t agreed a sponsorship deal so the jersey is currently sponsor less although they are expected to extend their current deal with Qatar Airways.

On the back of the neck is ‘Barca’ lettering with a yellow and red vertical stripe below it, the colours of the Catalan flag. Children’s charity UNICEF again have their logo on the lower back of the new Barcelona football shirt.

The shorts shorts are blue with a red vertical stripe running down each side and the socks are blue.
