Al Sadd Unveil New Balance Away Kit for 2026-27

Al Sadd SC and New Balance have officially unveiled the club’s new 2026-27 away kit, introducing a striking black and gold design for the Qatari giants.

Following the release of Al Sadd’s traditional white home shirt earlier this summer, the new away jersey takes a considerably darker approach, with New Balance combining a predominantly black base with an elaborate series of metallic gold graphics.

Black and Gold Al Sadd 2026-27 Away Shirt

The Al Sadd 2026-27 away shirt features sweeping gold lines running diagonally across the front of the jersey. Different line patterns and thicknesses overlap across the body to create a dynamic asymmetrical appearance.

A broader gold stripe cuts diagonally through the centre of the shirt, while finer curved lines spread across the lower section and right-hand side.

New Balance has continued the gold treatment across the branding, with its logo appearing on the right chest opposite a monochrome gold version of the Al Sadd crest. The club’s badge is topped by its familiar two stars, commemorating Al Sadd’s two Asian titles.

Long-term principal sponsor Qatar Airways also appears prominently across the centre of the shirt in gold, helping maintain the premium black-and-gold aesthetic.

Special Wolf Detail Features on the Back

One of the most interesting bespoke elements can be found beneath the back of the collar.

New Balance has added a small gold wolf graphic, providing the 2026-27 away shirt with an additional piece of Al Sadd identity rather than relying entirely on a standard template.

A gold-coloured collar panel provides another contrast against the otherwise black construction of the jersey.

Al Sadd Continue Partnership With New Balance

New Balance has supplied Al Sadd’s kits since 2022, and the latest away shirt continues the brand’s recent run of bespoke designs for the Doha club.

The black and gold colour combination provides a dramatic alternative to the predominantly white Al Sadd 2026-27 home kit, with the away strip set to be worn during the club’s domestic and continental fixtures during the new campaign.

Black shorts and black socks complete the full Al Sadd 2026-27 New Balance away kit.

The latest design is certainly one of Al Sadd’s more eye-catching shirts of recent seasons, with the metallic detailing, sweeping graphic and wolf sign-off giving the jersey a distinctive identity.
