News from South America as the new Adidas River Plate 2014/15 home kit inspired by that worn in 96/97 has been released.
The new 2014/15 River Plate home jersey has a white base colour with the familiar red sash running diagonally across the front and back of the shirt. One of the most striking elements is the familiar Adidas stripes on the shoulders are replaced by three red hoops on each sleeve, a design last used on the 1996/97 home jersey a season in which River Plate won the treble.
A red Adidas logo is placed on the right breast with the CARP badge on the left. Official shirt sponsor BBVA have their name in the middle of the jersey whilst they also have their ‘BBVA Frances’ logo on the top of the back.
The River Plate 2014/15 home kit is completed with black shorts with red and white details whilst the socks are white with a diagonal red sash running across each one similar to the jersey.
